The Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks have been rapidly making their way around the beauty blogging community as of late, and it is for a very good reason. These babies are marketed as having 'light texture, extreme comfort' with a matte finish, and I am pleased to say that they are indeed true to their word. They are a liquid lipstick, which dispenses a creamy almost lipgloss-like substance, but when applied dries to a moisturising but matte texture. And saying that the longevity of these was incredible would be an understatement. They lasted an entire day at work, two meals and one round of cocktails before I even considered re-application. I have the shades 01 Personne ne Rouge, which is a perfect deep red and 05 Ole Flamingo, a fantastic hot pink, bang on trend for the summer!
With enviable pigmentation, longevity and non-drying matte finishes, I am definitely making it my mission to grab the entire colour range of these.
